Oak Creek, WI – March 16, 2021 – Superior Die Set announced the promotion of Derrick Gilane as Sales Manager. Gilane is stepping into the role to support sales team management efforts as the company continues to grow.
This new role will focus on the design and execution of strategic business initiatives to expand Superior Die Set’s already strong presence in the marketplace. Gilane will have a specific focus on OEM business management and the newly developed ONEsource program.
Derrick holds an MBA from the University of Missouri and has been with the Superior Die Set over eleven years. Starting in the shop as a torch cutter, Gilane moved to Customer Service before transitioning to a full-fledged sales role. During his tenure, Derrick was the first sales team employee to be awarded the C.H. Janiszewski Salesmanship Award of the Year, an internal designation for outstanding performance.

He has also earned the respect of his peers and colleagues, which will serve him well as he helps take Superior Die Set to another level of success as our new Sales Manager” said Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Rodney Yeomans.
On his recent promotion Derrick commented, “coming up on our 100th anniversary I am reminded of the history that has come before me, I look forward to the opportunity to expand on the foundations of this long-standing pillar in the marketplace.”
